Nice & light with a great sale price BUT, installing software it took 2 reboots to be able to get into the all in 1 program. Checking for both software updates or firmware updates didn’t work at all, or if it did there was no notification stating “up to date”. Once closed, the program didn’t open again not even in administrator mode.
Bluetooth connectivity is very BAD.. Took a few goes before it would pair and when it finally did the mouse was very jittery and unusable in BT mode. Needs some serious work.
Connecting via cable or 2.4Hz is fine and responsive with plenty of adjustable settings. I was happy with default settings so didn’t try to change anything to see if the settings actually worked. The mouse is for my son, so he might play around with them to get the mouse how he likes it. I turned off RGB to extend battery life.
The macro page despite software set to English language this page was purely Chinese language. Great if your Chinese but useless if English language is the users first language or if the software is set to English but displays Chinese.
For the sale price it’s acceptable - just, but it doesn’t command a higher price tag at any time unless software bugs and BT connectivity issues are resolved or to compete with known manufacturers selling virtually the same product that has this stuff sorted out already.
It’s typically only Chinese manufacturers that have these problem with their products. Foreigner based manufacturers that get these products made in China have better software engineering development and wouldn’t distribute products with these issues I’ve identified until ironed out.
Again for the price it’s ALMOST ok and the selling point is the magnesium frame, being lightweight, strong, stylish but let down in software & BT connectivity.
Shape is great and weight is light and in the sweet spot of the rigidity and anti-fatigue. The solid sides are what sold me on this and the coating is a nice grippy matte finish. Scroll wheel feels great and is very accurate. Default skates are ok but adding some dots makes this mouse feel great. Only thing I wish is that they make a mini version with a 3950 sensor.

Only problem I had is some connection issues because of the receiver cable. It doesn't fit really well in my monitor's USB.
