DAREU SNOW SWITCH

Smooth | Swift

DAREU snow, a linear quick-trigger switch that uses double section gold-plated spring, paired with a 1.3mm trigger travel and a 50gf trigger force to reduce accidental touches and provide strong rebound. The switch stem adopts lengthened design, which can quickly reach the bottom and emit a pure and crisp clicking sound in a total travel of only 3.4mm. The upper cover and stem are both made of POK material, which is smoother than POM, leaving using feelings as smooth as silk.

Pretty Solid and Comfy Keyboard for Linear Enjoyers and Gaming

Overall I'm pretty happy with it, albeit with a few gripes. The keyboard feels very nice to use out of the box, and the battery lasts a very long time. The 2.4 ghz wireless mode is incredibly responsive. The keycaps feel nice and the sky v3 switches have a light and easy going linear feel to them. The stabilizers feel great except for the spacebar, which feels a little rougher compared to the other keys with stabilizers. The main screen has useful information on it; mainly the battery level, caps lock indicator, and connection mode indicator. The gif player is cute and the RGB options are plenty if you're into those. The knob is light, but smooth and satisfying. The legs are also very strong and stable, and have a snappy and solid feel when you extend them out. Everything on here feels high quality, with the exception of the connection selector, which rattles around quite a bit when placing my finger on it. It makes it feel kinda cheap and out of place on an otherwise high quality feeling keyboard. Hot swapping is easy, but do note that the silicone layer has 3 holes when the PCB has 5. This made me think I needed to cut off extra stems for the 5 pin switches that I put in. So if you're trying to hotswap with a 5 pin switch, just stick it in like normal and the extra pins will go through the silicone and fit right into the PCB. Another thing to note when hotswapping is that this seems like it's designed with linear switches in mind. Linears have this satisfying pop sound to them, but tactile switches sound deeper and louder than they normally are, and not really in good way IMO. Personally I would only put linear switches on here and save your tactiles for a different keyboard, unless you're looking for a louder and poppier sound from your tactiles. And if you don't care about hotswapping at all, the default sky v3's on the icy blue version feel great as well.

Works perfectly out of the box, pre installed foams make the defaults sound great and it's easy to hot swap. RGB and the small screen are very fun additions. My main gripes are with 1) the placement of where the wire plugs (on the top left), 2) the fact that the program doesn't allow me to set my own gif defaults to switch through, forcing me to manually upload a new gif every time (which can be slow), and 3) I have to switch OUT of the gif menu to the volume menu for the knob to change the volume, making it way more tedious to use the knob, so I end up using my usual volume short cut. Otherwise very good pre build!! The one time my screen glitched out I just used the hard reset shortcut and it worked again. I recommended modding the space bar for sound but that's it.

Lovely keyboard

Very nice keyboard, comes with some swap-able elements which I really like. The noise made by the majority of the keys is a very nice click, though some of the larger keys have a slight metallic clink to them. Would recommend

Feels incredible to type on. Connecting to 3 devices over Bluetooth is sweet.
