DAREU A98 PRO II NEON | Wireless 98-Key RGB Custom Hotswap Keyboard with Display
Compact layout Saves space
A compact layout design reserves more space and makes your desktop tidier.
LED display
LED on keyboard to show the power consumption. It is convenient for you to see the power at any time and avoid unnecessary troubles.
Hot-swap switch
The switch with a more elastic feel and more brilliance.
Gasket structure
It is fixed by precise upper and lower covers, and the fuselage structure is rigidly fixed without screws. High-toughness silicone filling is added between the keyboard liner and the bottom case.
Excellent Surface Treatment
The keyboard has a built-in high-toughness noise-absorbing silicone pad, a 3.5mm thick silicone pad, and a soft-elastic pc material positioning plate to form a close loop.
The NEON edition uses tri-color transparent injection PBT keycaps that allow deeper RGB light penetration, giving the lighting a softer, more vivid neon appearance. The color palette combines bold neon accents with semi-translucent materials not found on the standard model.
The A98 PRO II NEON is typically paired with the DAREU Mahjong Linear Switch or Sky V4 Switch, both of which include a trapezoidal light guide designed to enhance the neon RGB effect through the transparent keycaps.
It includes the 1.14-inch TFT color screen. You can upload custom GIF animations via the DAREU driver, monitor battery level, and toggle between Windows and Mac modes directly on the screen.
A high-toughness T-shaped PCB combined with a 6-layer sound-absorbing system (3.5mm silicone pad and PO cotton) creates a soft-elastic feel and a deep, crisp acoustic profile that minimizes metallic pings.
The wired and 2.4G modes provide low latency with N-key rollover, ensuring every keystroke registers accurately. Tri-mode connectivity (wired, 2.4G, Bluetooth 5.1) makes it flexible for both gaming and multi-device use.
The PCB is fully hot-swappable and supports both 3-pin and 5-pin mechanical switches. You can replace the stock switches with Cherry, Gateron, or Kailh options without soldering.
The 4000mAh lithium battery handles extended wireless use, even with RGB and the TFT screen active. Charging is via a fast USB-C interface.
Hold Fn+1, Fn+2, or Fn+3 to enter Bluetooth pairing mode for up to three devices. Once paired, you can switch between devices using the same shortcuts.
The tri-color transparent PBT keycaps retain the same textured, oil-resistant surface feel as standard PBT. The difference is primarily visual, allowing more light to pass through for the neon RGB effect.
Yes, the keyboard connects to iPad via Bluetooth 5.1. You will need to switch to Mac mode (Fn+W) for correct key mapping on iPadOS.
