The Dareu COOL60 (red version) caught my eye with its hall effect switches and rapid trigger mode. Functionally, it’s pretty standard for a 60% hall effect board, but the standout is the frosted translucent design, which looks great and gives a soft, comfortable backlight.

On the downside, it feels a bit cheaper than some competitors—missing a gasket structure—and oddly has the manufacturer’s info sticker placed on the back edge where it’s visible.

Performance-wise, it offers 0.01mm precision, adjustable rapid trigger (0.2–3.5mm), and an 8000Hz polling rate with 0.04ms response, which are solid specs but not unique compared to other HE boards.

The web/desktop software works fine for remapping, macros, RGB, and gaming functions, though the web app is more convenient since only it handles macros.

Overall, a stylish, responsive board with good features, but build quality could be better.

The Dareu COOL60 is honestly a pretty solid little board. The frosted, semi-transparent case with those super bright LEDs looks awesome, and since it’s small and lightweight, it feels perfect for travel.

The Ice-Blade switches are smooth, low wobble, and the sound is this nice muted clack that leans thocky. Plus, since it’s hotswap, you can throw in Gaterons, TTCs, or whatever you like.

What really surprised me is the software. You’ve got both a web app and a local version, and they actually work well together. You can tweak actuation, set up multiple profiles, and switch them on the fly with shortcuts. The local app can bug out sometimes, but the web one is super reliable.

Overall, for the price, it’s hard to beat. Great look, fun lighting, solid switches, and flexible software. Definitely one of my top picks if you want an affordable 60% HE keyboard.

This keyboard is pretty cool! First off it does feel a bit more budget keyboard than I was hoping, it makes sense because of the translucent plastic case though, it does look great!

The keys all register and work great, the RGB lighting is intense it is by far the brightest and rgb-est keyboard I have! The strap is a cool touch but very fiddly to put the screws through the holes.

The keyboard is loud! The switches are linear feeling magnetic switches they do feel nice to type on but it's a loud hollow clack sound not a nice thock or creamy sound.. that said I don't hate it but it's not my favorite sound.

I can't put my finger on why, but i can't get above 50wpm with this board no matter how much I try it just doesnt get me to my max of 55-60wpm idk if it's the keycaps or the switches themselves but it does feel okay to type on!
